What is Famciclovir 250mg?

Famciclovir 250mg is an antiviral medication. It is used to treat viral illnesses such as herpes and shingles. It’s also used to keep herpes outbreaks at bay. This medication does not treat herpes infections. Famciclovir 250 mg is a medication used to treat herpes zoster (shingles). It is also used to treat persistent herpes skin infections in HIV-positive individuals. Famtrex 250mg is used to treat reoccurring cold sores and to cure or suppress recurring genital herpes in people with impaired immune systems. Famtrex 250 is manufactured by Cipla Ltd.
